Payment hold (self-serve).
A payment hold is payment kept by UGC MENA until the brand approves the delivery. It is live for self-serve campaigns; managed campaigns are invoiced before production.
Example
In self-serve, a brand confirms the brief and pays by card; the amount is held, then released to the creator when the video is approved.
Why it matters
The creator knows the amount is set aside before filming, and the brand pays for work it has approved.
