Glossary · Term
B-roll.
B-roll is supporting footage — close-ups, hands, product and setting — cut between the main talking shots.
Example
A creator talks about a serum, then the edit cuts to a close-up of the dropper.
Why it matters
B-roll makes edits smoother and gives editors material for more versions.
